You can easily manage your ACS student’s loan account if you have an online account. Once you log in you will be able to view your payment information online, make payments, change your address and many more. The schools which the students attend can also register for an account. This will enable the said schools to access information concerning the loan accounts of their students.
About ACS Education Services
ACS Education was established so as to provide repayment services for the campus loans, private education loan and also the FFELP (Federal Family Education Loan Programs). The ACS provides many services to their customers including but not limited to;
- Processing of the loan payments
- Sending statements
- Apply for the deferments and forbearances (that is if you qualify)
- Provides you with the necessary tools like the website so that you can manage your account.
- Report the status of your loan to the nationwide consumer reporting agencies
There are two different loan programs that you can apply for. The loans include the FFEL; this loan program includes the consolidated loans, Stafford loans, Supplemental Students Loan and the PLUS loans. The other type of loan program is the CPS (campus based Student loan programs) which includes the federal Perkins loans, Health loans, and the nursing loans. One thing that you should understand is that the ACS Education does not provide the loans, they only provide repayment services.
The ACS mandate is to ensure that you repay your loan in full without any stress that is the reason why they contact you to encourage you to repay your loan. Once they call you they will enquire about your loan and discuss about your payment options.
It is very easy for you to disable your account from the ACS website. By disabling your account you will not be able to view your account information on the ACS website. You are advised not to disable your account if you cannot remember your user name. This is because if you disable your account and you have forgotten your user name and password, you will not be allowed to re-register. You will be blocked from viewing your information permanently.
