The requirements of being able to pay tax online using Tax Information Network include:

The steps to pay tax online are as follows:

  2. You will be presented with a notice, read it carefully and then click on “Continue.”

  3. On the left side of the page, there will be a menu bar, from that choose “Pay Taxes Online” and then click on “Pay Taxes Online” from that pop-up menu.

  4. A pop-up will appear on your webpage, Click “Ok” to be re-directed to the filing page.

  5. Choose the appropriate type of Challan under the “Select applicable Challan” heading.

  6. Enter the information requested in the next page and click on “Proceed.”
